Church Flowers in Charleston Mini Tour

Join Faith Flowers in the historic city of Charleston, SC, for a celebration of church flowers! The highlight of this tour will be the Grace Church Cathedral Fall Flower Festival. We will also visit some of Charleston's most impressive historic homes and gardens. This small group tour creates a convivial atmosphere and easily allows us to further discuss church flower designs. 

The Grace Church Cathedral Fall Flower Festival, held every 2 years, is an impressive event that includes flower seminars, demonstrations and displays. This year’s guest designers are Alan Beatty and James Burnside. Both are distinguished members of the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies in the United Kingdom and are National judges, adjudicators, and speakers. The Fall Flower Festival includes three 2.5 hour sessions spread over 3 days set within the inspiring backdrop of the Cathedral.

Charleston Tour Highlights

• Church Flower Festival seminars, demonstrations and displays spread over 3 days

• Private tour of the Nathaniel Russell House and Gardens

• A special evening at Middleton Place, a National Historic Landmark, that includes private house and garden tours, and a private dinner set amongst the magical camellias and spectacular, historic gardens

• Dinner with a view from high above the city

• Enjoy a small group atmosphere that will allow us to chat about all the inspiring designs we've seen

General Itinerary 

October 30th: Arrive in Charleston on your own in time for our first event - a 1:30 pm church flowers seminar at Grace Church Cathedral. We will have dinner together that evening.

October 31st: We will have a morning of touring in downtown Charleston, then lunch together, followed by an afternoon church flowers seminar at Grace Church Cathedral. An evening at Middleton Place completes our day. 

November 1st: Our last day of the tour, Friday, November 1st, ends with a morning church flowers seminar (9:00 - 11:30am) at Grace Church Cathedral.

Italy Flower Tour

April 23 - May 4, 2025

Faith Flowers Tours is excited to announce our first tour to Italy! Join us for a tailored travel experience for those who love to learn about flowers, while enjoying bespoke, luxury itineraries.

We will visit Milan, Genoa, the Italian Riviera and Lake Maggiorre. Experience gardens, food and wine tours, luxury hotels, fine dining and the company of fellow flower lovers. We add our own special Faith Flowers features with flower arranging classes by internationally renowned instructors who live and work in the area. All levels of experience are welcome!

2025 ITALY TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

• 11 nights in Milan, Genoa, San Remo in the Italian Riviera and Stressa on Lake Maggiore
• Visit to the international flower show EuroFlora, held on the revitalized and Renzo Piano designed Genoa waterfront
• 3 floral design workshops with leading Italian designers
• Learn design techniques and design approaches of both traditional and local floristry not widely known in the US
• Private garden tours at Villa della Pergola, the Borromean Islands, and the historically and academically significant Giardini Botanici Hanbury
• 'Explore the Flower Riviera' day with visits to local wholesalers and growers 
• A basil farm tour that includes pesto making and lunch
• Day trip to Nice and Monaco with visits to the famous fresh market in Nice
• Boat tour of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands
